Join us for Round 3 of our Battle of the Soups fundraiser event at the Ballard Farmers Market on April 20th from 9:30am - 12:30pm!
Here’s how it works:
Participants will make a $10 contribution to taste soups created by our very own Ballard Farmers Market vendors and vote for their favorite. The top contenders from the previous round will be going head to head, competing to see who has made the ultimate soup! The proceeds will directly benefit the Farm Relief Fund, supporting local Washington farmers.

Join us for the 4th annual Plant a Seed event—a celebration of pollinators, plants, and community!
This year, we’re shining a spotlight on the often-overlooked Mason Bee—a pollination powerhouse! Unlike honeybees, which lose most of their pollen when they clean themselves, Mason Bees carry nearly 100% of the pollen they collect, making them incredibly efficient at helping plants thrive.
We’re also spreading the word about the nationwide decline of butterflies. Habitat loss, pesticide use, and climate change are threatening butterfly populations, disrupting ecosystems that rely on their role as pollinators and nutrient-cyclers. Join us to learn how you can make a difference!
Your support helps provide essential materials and educational outreach. Plus, donations of $10 or more include a raffle ticket for a chance to win something cool!

Marcia won February’s Battle of the Soups competition representing the Environmental Rotary Club of Puget Sound!

Participants will make a $10 contribution to taste soups, created by our very own Ballard Farmers Market vendors, and vote for their favorite. Competitors will be going head to head against our Round 1 reigning champion - Marcia Holiday! The proceeds will directly benefit the Farm Relief Fund fuel stipend, supporting local Washington farmers transporting their produce and goods to and from the market.

Enveloped by the sunshine and crispness of an autumn afternoon, this intimate backyard jam brings together talented artists and passionate individuals like you, advocating to bridge urban and agricultural communities. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets for an afternoon filled with great music, delicious food, and a warm sense of community giving.
